A Christmas Story
Set in the 1940s in the fictional town of Hohman, Indiana, the musical follows 9-year-old Ralphie Parker and his quest for the Holy Grail of Christmas gifts—an Official Red Ryder carbine-action 200-shot Range Model air rifle. Rebuffed at every turn with a similar echoing response, Ralphie plots numerous schemes to achieve his desperate desire for the coveted BB gun. All the iconic scenes from the movie are here: Ralphie's friend, Flick, getting his tongue stuck to the flagpole; his brother, Randy, getting dressed in his snowsuit; the bullies, Farkus and Dill; the leg lamp award; the bunny suit; the Chinese restaurant; Christmas dinner; and many others. A Christmas Story, The Musical will bring an exciting new dimension to those who have seen the movie and will certainly stand on its own for those who haven't.

She's no George Bailey! She's no Ebenezer Scrooge! She's a little bit spicier! She's Rosita, aka "Abuelita!" Since 2006, this show has played all over South and Central Texas, and even made a stop on the West Coast in California at the Santa Monica Playhouse. Alex Garza is overjoyed to return to Corpus Christi with a play written so lovingly about his family and, most importantly, Rosa Hinojosa, his maternal grandmother. The show includes the same wacky and dear cast of characters, including Lucas, Pedro, Feliza, and who could forget...the pig ghost named Agapito. The show contains deleted scenes from the original 2006 production, and it will have just a little more music than before. Ring in the holidays with a Tex-Mex holiday classic!

Alex Garza lives in Austin, Texas, and has been writing and performing his own plays for several years. He has performed professionally with several theatre companies in the Austin area including Pollyanna Theatre Company, Scottish Rite Theatre, and Zachary Scott Theatre's Project Interact. He has performed his own one-person plays across south and central Texas, and he performed his holiday play, "Abuelita's Christmas Carol," at the Santa Monica Playhouse in California. He enjoys creating theatrical works for wide ranges of audiences.

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents compete for the spelling championship of a lifetime. As they spell their way through a series of challenging and possibly invented words, they share hilarious and touching stories from their home lives. Each contestant hopes to avoid the dreaded "ding" of the bell that signals a mistake. While only one will emerge as the champion, the rest will at least leave with a juice box!
Jon "Polar Bear Comedy" Gonzalez Live On Stage!
Jon’s best known for his White VS Hispanic skits, however Jon first started doing comedy in July of 2011. What started off as making his family laugh on road trips, soon led to him stumbling upon Chris Farley and stand up comedy, which eventually led to him pursuing a full time career in stand up. After getting involved in the local comedy scene in Austin, Jon quickly found success through the release of multiple comedy skits which went viral receiving millions of views on Facebook and shortly after, TikTok. Since then Jon has toured all over the country performing his live standup show while also growing his fan base through social media. You won’t wanna miss it!
Bugsy Malone
Two gangs comprised completely of children, square off in a 1920s rivalry of Capone-ian standards. Dandy Dan's gang has gotten the upper hand since obtaining the "splurge" gun (a weapon that shoots whipped cream). Now, Fat Sam and his bumbling buffoons are in real trouble! Bugsy Malone, a one-time boxer, is thrust not-so-willingly into the gangster limelight when he becomes the last chance that Fat Sam's gang has of surviving. All Bugsy really wants to do is spend time with his new love, Blousey, but that just isn't in the cards for our hero.

“Laundry and Bourbon” and “Lone Star”, two one-act comedies, offer the audience two sides of the same coin. Through two very different sets of characters, we see the intimate details of life in a small Texas town during a time of unrest and uncertainty in America.
Godspell

Based loosely on Puccini’s La Boheme, Jonathan Larson’s Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning RENT follows a year in the life of a diverse group of impoverished young artists and musicians struggling to survive and create in New York’s Lower East Side, dealing with poverty, addiction, infidelity, and living under the shadow of HIV/AIDS. Despite the heavy circumstances, this group of friends band together to choose love over fear and live their lives without regret.

Cabaret
In a Berlin nightclub, as the 1920's draw to a close, a garish Master of Ceremonies welcomes the audience and assures them they will forget all their troubles at the Cabaret. With the Emcee's bawdy songs as wry commentary, Cabaret explores the dark, heady, and tumultuous life of Berlin's natives and expatriates as Germany slowly yields to the emerging Third Reich. Cliff, a young American writer newly arrived in Berlin, is immediately taken with English singer Sally Bowles. Meanwhile, Fräulein Schneider, proprietor of Cliff and Sally's boarding house, tentatively begins a romance with Herr Schultz, a mild-mannered fruit seller who happens to be Jewish. Musical numbers include Willkommen, Cabaret, Don't Tell Mama, and Two Ladies.

A Chorus Line
A Chorus Line examines one day in the lives of seventeen dancers, all vying for a spot in the “chorus line” of a Broadway musical. Sylvia
Greg and Kate have moved to Manhattan after twenty-two years of child-raising in the suburbs. One afternoon, Greg brings home a dog he found in the park—or that has found him—bearing only the name “Sylvia” on her name tag. A street-smart mixture of Lab and poodle, Sylvia becomes a major bone of contention between husband and wife. She offers Greg an escape from the frustrations of his job and the unknowns of middle age. To Kate, Sylvia becomes a rival for affection. A country-rock and blues musical about agoraphobia, adultery, '80s nostalgia, spray cheese, road kill, hysterical pregnancy, a broken electric chair, kleptomania, strippers, flan, and disco, The Great American Trailer Park Musical centers around regular guy Norbert and his agoraphobic wife, Jeannie, whose marriage is threatened by Armadillo Acres' newcomer, the hot young stripper Pippi. The trailer park also plays home to a Greek-chorus-like trio of women Linoleum, Betty and Pickles, each dysfunctional in her own right.

The Cruz family is volatile even in the best of times. On this particular day, Nelson, the youngest son, enters the house in a panic to hide the more obvious religious relics from the sight of his "gringo" girlfriend, who is visiting for the weekend. Nelson's mother, Dahlia, is obsessed with retrieving her husband from his new girlfriend; Eddy, her elder son, shows up in a van with his failed life and pregnant girlfriend. But the "real" pandemonium is caused by sweet, long-suffering Dolores, Dahlia's old-maid sister, when she sees the face of the Holy Virgin in a tortilla. This miracle brings hordes of believers and reporters to camp out on the Cruz's lawn to await further miracles. As the family struggles with beliefs and conflicts, old and new, the endurance of family love is revealed to be the real miracle.
