AAT Young Actors Summer Camp Presents 'The Rainbow Fish Musical'
AURORA ARTS THEATRE YOUNG ACTORS SUMMER CAMP PRESENTS
‘THE RAINBOW FISH MUSICAL’
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS—Aurora Arts Theatre (AAT) will present ‘The Rainbow Fish Musical’ today at 1 p.m. featuring students from our Young Actors Summer Camp.
‘The Rainbow Fish Musical’ is based on the award-winning, best-selling book ‘The Rainbow Fish’ written and illustrated by Marcus Pfister. Through magical, bright, and colorful characters, this children’s story addresses themes such as acceptance and friendship. The story follows the Rainbow Fish, a beautiful and admired sea creature and their struggle to understand how to share with others. After the ocean turns their back on the Rainbow Fish, they seek assistance from the wise Octopus who teaches the fish that being generous goes a lot further than being beautiful.
“Our young actors have worked tirelessly to bring this JAWSOME musical to the Aurora stage,” said Aurora Arts Theatre Summer Camp Director, Bryan Meza. “Hours of rehearsals have certainly paid off, and I am extremely proud of our campers and this production. Our campers were given the opportunity to learn stage direction, choreography, vocal technique, and puppetry over the last two weeks”.
This session is the last installment of Summer Camp at AAT.
