The Aurora Arts Theatre is excited to kick off our 2025 season and celebrate our 15th anniversary with the return of West Side Story!

This timeless musical reimagines Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet in modern-day New York City, where two star-crossed lovers are caught in the crossfire of the feuding Jets and Sharks. As tensions rise between the "American" Jets and the Puerto Rican Sharks, their story unfolds as a poignant exploration of love, hate, and the pursuit of unity in a divided world. With its unforgettable music and powerful narrative, West Side Story remains one of the most groundbreaking and emotionally charged musical dramas of our time.

We're looking for musicians in the Coastal Bend area to join our band for West Side Story! We are in need of a trumpet, flute, saxophone, trombone and bassoon player. Shows run every Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 2:30 pm. Ages +16.
